Catching Up.....Finally!

So it has been FoReVeR since I last blogged! I figured it was about time before I got myself any further behind so please forgive me if the post is rather long! For Easter this year we had a fun little barbecue at my parents house with my brother and his family, our family, and my parents. It was a little cold but we were able to have a awesome Easter egg hunt before the rain. The kids scored BIG! They had so much fun, and they all got tons of candy, prizes, and toys!
The hunt is on!
The kids and their big haul!
Friday night we decorated eggs, had pizza, and ate Easter basket cupcakes for dessert!
The kids and their finished eggs!
Kaiden and Abby putting out their Eggs for the Easter bunny, and leaving him some carrots!
The next morning we were up bright and early hunting for eggs. The kids found all of them but one. A couple of days later we found it in the kitchen under the rooster bell!

The kids had fun searching for their baskets this year, and didn't need too much help from mom and dad. Madi found hers on our bed behind the pillows. Abby's was in the laundry basket, and Kaiden's was outside hanging from the light!Later that day we headed out to Darrin's parents house for dinner and another Easter egg hunt. The kids got tons more eggs, and had fun hanging out with the cousins!

Abby has been staying busy. She had a talent show at her school where they got to perform a hat dance and share their talent. Abby decided to play the piano. She played Old Mcdonald had a farm and a song she made up herself!Abby also got to be the star student at school, we made a poster of her and she got to explain it to the class, she practiced what she was going to say for 2 days!On Saturday Abby had her big dance recital. She was so excited! She did an amazing job and we are so proud of her!We have been waiting for the couple who bought our house to sell their house {the contract expired the end of April} and they just haven't had any luck. We still continued to show the house but had ourselves convinced that we probably wouldn't sell it until we got back from Disneyland. The day before the contract expired we finally had another interested buyer. They came through twice loved the home and wanted us out in 2 weeks. We had quit looking at homes because every time we would find one we like it would sell. So now we are packing and trying to find a house as soon as we can! As of now we really have no idea what is going on? What we know for sure is the kids will still have 2 weeks left of school when we move and we are still going to Disneyland in June! Everything is CrAzY and the house is starting to look bare! I also apologize for how bad the yard is starting to look, but we just haven't had the time. I will update when we know more.........

NICE TO SEE YOU BACK TIFF! :)

Our friends are selling their house in Pleasant Grove. It is up by Black hawk. It is an AMAZING home! It has a private back yard, that is huge and is immaculate! Let me know if you are interested in looking at it. I am not sure what the selling price is, but if you want to see it, I will find out!

I cna't believe you guys are really going! I don't think we'll be far behind you though. Matt wants to be in his new job for at least a few months before we do anything drastic.
They better be good people moving in there! Abby is so cute, I think Brock will be sad to see her go.
