Join Teddy and Me for Tea!

Today's the day, it's finally here......it's time for Abby's teddy bear tea party! Here she is all dressed up and ready to go. For her birthday she got to get a new dress for her little bunny Fluffy, and of course she also received a new party dress for the occasion. The two of them look so cute all dressed up!

For Abby's tea party we thought it would be so fun to have all the girls to dress up in their best party dress, and to bring their favorite stuffed animal. When they got there we had a pair of long white gloves, and a feather boa for them to help complete their outfit. Next we had party hats for the girls that they could decorate with flowers and ribbon, we also had a little party hat that they could also decorate for their stuffed animal. All the girls were so creative, I think they all turned out adorable! After we were done decorating hats it was time for tea! We served special birthday tea (strawberry lemonade) in real china tea cups (a set that we borrowed from Abby's great grandma Olsen.) We also had sandwiches that were shaped like teddy bears, teddy grahams, goldfish, and pink and white iced animal cookies! We had a couple games planned that we were going to play, but we were running out of time so we decided to do presents and cake and ice cream!
This last picture is one of my favorites! I think all the girls look so cute dressed up with their stuffed animals! The girls in the picture starting from the left hand top row are.....
Ashlan, Shayla, Abby, Brooke, and Abby Lund
the bottom row starting at the left are.....
Lexi, Hannah, Emma, and Jane
When the party was over, they got to take home their hats, feather boa, and white gloves! For party favors I bought real china tea cups and saucers, inside was a necklace, bracelet, and a ring, I also put some candy. Then I wrapped it up with some cellophane and tied it with some curly ribbon! I think they were some of the cutest party favors I have done! The party was a huge success, all the girls really had a fun time. Happy Birthday Abby! February 2, 2008
